Description |
Flat corn-husk bag. Eastern Washington/Nez Perce. Extended Visual Description This bag is a light tan color with two leather handles through like a drawstring. Two triangles lay on the sides of the bag to create a diamond in the center. Each triangle has a smaller red triangle in the middle, with yellow right triangles to fill the bottom corners. The bottom triangles are outlined in blue. Outlining the blue is orange the lower half of the bottom triangles. The orange transitions to red and continues through 2/3 of the top triangles were it turns to orange again. There are stylized flowers down the center of the bag. The colors of the flowers is red, blue, white, and pink. On the green side of the bag there are two flowers next to eachother. These flowers have long green stems with petals that go from green, to pink, to blue. Each side of the bag has a large triangle with its bottom facing that side. The triangles have a small triangle diagonal of each corner. The triangles are connected in a cross shape. |
