Description |
Round twined basket of spruce root from southwestern Washington. 5.5" dia at top, 4.5" at bottom, 4.75" tall. Three horizontal bands of beargrass decoration. Extended Visual Description Small round basket. Base is begun circularly and seems to have three main rings. The body of the basket has three bands of light colored patterning. There is a row of light color and red just under the braided rim. There is a tear in the rim which has been sewn up with white thread. |
