Description |
Basketry tray. A hard coiled basket using a 3-rod foundation of willow twigs and stitching of willow and devil's claw. Possibly Apache or Chemehuevi. Extended Visual Description Semi flat round basket with a raised lip and raised middle. The color of the basket is tan and black with variation of fading. The design has four "T" shaped designs around the center. The "T" shaped have both tan and black weaved into the design. There is a spiral center with a single band of black weave around it. |
