Twined basket of twisted cattail leaves upon a warp of cedar bark. This type of basket was made to sell to tourists. Has three horizontal rows of color. Basket shape is long rectangle. Cedar bark plaited bottom. Sweet grass and wired, dyed and natural. Handle of spun fiber. Measurements: top cm 35.5 x 7, bottom cm 26.5 x 6, height cm 24.75 Extended Visual Description Object is a narrow soft sided basket. Rounded corners. Single rope handle on one side. Rim intact. Design is three lines of color around, colors faded. Colors are gray and red. No visible damage. |
