Description |
Per Vivian Harrison, Yakama, This basket is made of cedar bark and sweetgrass. The design features four wolves - two aggressive (with tail up), and two not aggressive (with tail down). Very fine work. Extended Visual Description Object is a round basket. Rim intact, loops around rim, most missing. Colors are dark brown, light tan. Elongated horses are at middle in dark brown, tan eye, red in muzzle. Bottom is a checkerboard design with circular weave around and up side. No other damage. |
