Description |
Small berry picking basket with extensive repairs. Basket is coiled of cedar root, mended w/ cedar root and has original buckskin loops. Cowlitz. Extended Visual Description Object is a round medium sized brown basket. It had designs, but little remains. Colors are white and dark brown. It has three leather loops near top, may have had four, but that area is broken. Basket has been repaired in numerous places including the bottom. It has been stiffened. Inside is blackened and bottom has worn areas and many small holes. Some small holes on outside at bottom. Rim is broken in several places. |
