Description |
Storage basket. Technology is hard coiled with cedar root foundation and stitching. Imbrication consists of simple patterns in diagonal orientation. Materials of imbrication are cherry bark, dark cherry bark, and beargrass. Extended Visual Description Object is rectangular with tapered sides to base, (19cm lengthwise, 14cm width.). Top has broken areas around rim. Design is diagonal lines of red/brown, white, or black, in 3cm x 3cm squares. Some to most of color is breaking off. Base has spots of weave missing. Basket is slightly dirty inside and has small strips of dark color on right side of bottom. There is also greenish spots of stain on back from 7cm to 10cm above bottom. Two small stains are on right inside wall near bottom stain. Midway up inside of front is a green streak. |
