Description |
Small basket of twined work with loops around the top edge. Three bands of decoration. Material not determined. Dimensions top 7" height 4". Possibly by an artist from the Modoc people of Oregon. Extended Visual Description Object is a small round soft sided basket. Rim has continuous loops, all intact. Color is light brown with three rows of diagonal lines, one row of brown near top, red lines at middle and five rows of brown near bottom. No visible damage. Coiled construction. |
